LETTER FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Annual Meeting Update:
We hope all residents of our wonderful community are doing well during this time of uncertainty. We thank you for your continued support and input as we all navigate the current pandemic environment. Due to the COVID-19 Emergency Declaration declared by Governor Pete Rickets on March 13, 2020, we are postponing the Armbrust Acres Annual Meeting originally scheduled for April 28, 2020. In lieu of the Annual Meeting, the Armbrust Acres Homeowners Association are sending all households the following information:
We understand how important your voice is to our community. We will organize a neighborhood meeting to be held at the Armbrust Acres park once the state and national guidance allows. In the meantime, please reach out if there is anything we can do to support you during this crisis.
Armbrust Acres Park: Effective April 25, 2020, Mayor Stothert announced all city parks will be reopened. They will be open from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Although the parks are now open, the playground is to remain closed. Mayor Stothert said, "I am pleading with parents, we are keeping the playgrounds closed. We are asking parents to please keep kids off the playgrounds."
Although the Armbrust Acres park is private, we will continue to support the city/state recommendations combating COVID-19. We have removed the "Park Closed" signs, but request the playground remain closed to support the Mayor's guidance as well as following Gov. Ricketts lastest guidance. Link --> Office of Gov. Ricketts
Garage Sales: We have cancelled the spring garage sales originally scheduled for May 14-16, 2020. Instead, we will divert resources and advertisement toward our fall garage sales, now scheduled for Sept. 10-12, 2020.
