Come join your neighbors at the Armbrust Acres park to celebrate the U.S. of A! Enjoy live music, a photo booth, food trucks, the neighborhood parade, and an evening capped off with a beautiful fireworks display. You don't want to miss it!

About the event
Our annual Armbrust Acres neighborhood will again celebrate July 4th on Friday July 1st. The event gets bigger and better every year. This year will be no exception.
5:30 pm: Our kids & family parade will start on the west side of 165th St on Bancroft St (W. Center Rd entrance) and end at the Armbrust Acres park. See attached parade map. We will start staging between 5:00 to 5:15 pm. A Fire Truck will lead followed by children, family, and friends. Classic cars will be following the kids & family. Everyone is encouraged to decorate their bikes, trikes, strollers, wagons, etc and celebrate along the parade route heading west on Bancroft St then south on 167th St. During the parade traffic will be strictly controlled at each entrance.
6:00 pm: Festivities will continue. As before we will have FotoFunSpot providing a booth for fun digital photos. DJ Shawn Farrel from Sounds Unlimited will be providing music. New this year, we will have an air-brush tattoo artist from Balloon Brigade.

- Javi's - Mexican cuisine
- Dippin Dots
- Kona Ice
9:30-10:00ish pm: The fireworks will start. The fireworks show, provided by Midwest Fireworks, is one of the best in the city.
Please note: Not everyone follows us on Facebook, and we don't have email addresses for every household in the Armbrust neighborhood, so please inform your neighbors of the event in case they didn't know.
